Whatever your hopes are for your day it all starts at the Ceremony.  It's the tone, the theme, the context - it's what your wedding is all about! It's a showcase of your togetherness, your shared lives, your promises to each other, this is where the heart (and hygge) is!

You can have as many of the familiar elements as you like, sharing rings, exchanging vows, readings or poems and all of the other good stuff. Perhaps include some of the less familiar aspects which could add the essence to your story and your promises; rituals which feel meaningful to you such as handfasting, wine or gin blending, something that draws upon your faith or culture or a landmark ritual such as a tree planting. We could sing and dance through parts of your ceremony if you like. A truly memorable ceremony celebrates your quirks, fun, your nuances and chemistry whatever are those things that give you that 'hygge' feeling.  Your ceremony is your character and your love in words or action, it needs to portray all that keeps you rich, loving and happy!

Let's revel in you and your joy!

Wherever you like!

There are no restrictions for where your ceremony takes place.  It could be your favourite place, under a tree in your local park, where you first met, at a festival or gig, in your favourite pub or restaurant, cozy coffee shop or tea rooms, in woodland, by the coast or even in your Granny's back garden if it's where you feel happy.  One of the benefits of a Celebrant led ceremony is that we don't have to officiate in a licenced premises (which Registrars are limited to) so where you say 'I do' is entirely your choice.

Whenever you like!

It could be at midnight under the light of the full moon if you fancy!  Or at dawn as the sun is rising over the horizon!  I never book more than one ceremony per day so I can go wherever you like and be there whenever you need me. You could even have rituals which focus on the meaning of your union after the main ceremony, interwoven through your day - it's entirely up to you!
